Our program is open to players at all levels, with golf instruction tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Participants range in age from 7 through 17 years old. They come from inner city, low-income neighborhoods as well as affluent suburban areas. They include all ethnic backgrounds and skill levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced golfers.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS: The program’s maximum capacity is 60 juniors and enrollment is presently at that level. We have a waiting list that you may join by completing the Prospective Applicant Form and uploading here. We will contact you when space opens up in the program. 

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of our program the waiting time could be lengthy and we cannot commit to any specific timeframe for a call back.

RENEWING AND NEW MEMBERS

Please pay your 2024 fees using the Paypal link below. Payments are due by 19 January 2024 and must be received before starting in the program in 2024. The 2024 fees will be as follows based on the number of juniors in your family.

1 Child - $150.00

2 Children - $250.00

3 Children - $300.00

Please upload your proof of health insurance coverage in calendar year 2024 for your junior(s) if there has been a change since 2023. This must be received along with payment before your junior will be allowed to start in the program in 2024.

Also please go into TeamSnap and update all the relevant contact information in your TeamSnap record(s) before the start of the 2024 program.

Because our waiting list for the program is so long, our 2024 absence policy now only allows seven (7) unexcused absences in a year and a total of 15 absences. Juniors with seven or more unexcused absences or more than 15 total absences will be terminated from the program. 

There will be no refunds for Juniors that voluntarily leave the program or those that are terminated from the program during the year because of safety violations, improper conduct during the program or exceeding the absence policy. By paying your fees you are agreeing to this policy as well as the waivers below. Please take note of this very important point.

RELEASE WAIVER:

I hereby release and hold harmless the Metropolitan Junior Golf Program (MJGP), its officers, agents all other persons acting on its behalf, from any all causes of action, liability, damage, loss and expense, including attorney fees and court costs, whether based upon causes of action for strict liability, negligence, gross or otherwise, in connection with the participation of me or my child in any activity conducted by MJGP, whether at its practice facility or elsewhere. This release is made in all my legal capacities, including on my own behalf, and on the behalf of my spouse and any other parent or guardian of the enrollee, and as legal representative and guardian of the enrollee.

AUTHORIZATION FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT:

I hereby consent and authorize MJGP staff to obtain emergency medical care for myself or my child for any injury that may result from participation in the activities of MJGP or on or about its practice facility. I understand that MJGP does not provide medical insurance coverage for participants of its program.

PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE WAIVER: 

I grant to the Metropolitan Junior Golf Program (MJGP), its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me, my children and my property in connection with the Metropolitan Junior Golf Program. I authorize MJGP, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that MJGP may use such photographs of me or my children with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
