Playing the Back-9
The Metro Golf Links golf course regularly affords an opportunity for up to eight juniors to play the back nine on Saturday mornings free of charges. Tee times change depending upon the time of year, but are typically between 6:00 - 7:30am. Juniors playing the back nine are expected to be present at Metro 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time.
Every junior in the program beyond a certain skill level is expected to play the back-9.
Juniors playing the back-9 are expected to participate in the regular instruction when they are done.
Juniors will be provided an advanced schedule which informs them which Saturday(s) they are scheduled to play the back-9.
Juniors are required to make alternate arrangements in advance (at least one week prior to their schedule time) if they cannot play as scheduled.
Failure to show up for a Back-9 tee time will result in three unexcused absences and immediate probation for the junior. The junior and their parents must appear before the Board for reinstatement.
